Nose: Sweet and sour fruits, cherry cake, and a creamy profile, suggesting perfection from a wine cask. Palate: Mouth-watering sweetness, rich and deep flavors of cherry and small berries. There's some acidity from the Bordeaux cask, along with a desired dusty quality. Finish: Wonderful and spicy, with fruity notes that linger with spices for a very long time. This is my top pick out of over 15 micro-provenance spirits I've tasted!
