About this bottle
The first release in the DNA Series, this bottling is designated The 36, referring to the whisky's age. Rare casks from the late 1960s and early 1970s form this single malt, which spent 80% of its maturation in ex-bourbon American oak and 20% in ex-sherry butts. It underwent marrying and finished aging in former red Bordeaux wine barrels from Château Le Pin, a renowned Pomerol wine. The bottling strength is 41% ABV.
