Bruichladdich Celtic Nations

This "Celtic Nations" blended malt was created when an Irish Whiskey was combined with a Scotch. It consists of a Bruichladdich Single malt and a Cooley (Connemara) Irish whiskey, bottled at 46% abv. Its aroma is incredibly maritime, reminiscent of grain from Jameson mixed with Talisker, though it's actually Bruichladdich combined with Connemara. Notes of lime and almonds are present. The palate reveals almonds, grain whisky, and the acidity of lime and orange. The finish is dominated by salt, sugar, and pepper, with brief, mild spices and a hint of vanilla. Overall, this is an intriguing whiskey, somewhat direct and lacking complexity. The concept was successful, but it's not a dram to remember. It's well-balanced and quite pleasant, nothing more.
