Nose - Earthy dark fruit funk, dried grapes, tart cranberries, ripe blueberries, nectar, grape candy, hide, sweet cigar leaf, touch of citrus peel Palate - Thin sweet honey, ripe berries, offbeat sweet red wine, touch of citrus & spice, faint grape skin astringency, sweet almonds, earthy sherry, fungus Aftertaste - Prolonged fruity fungal funk, sugary berries, honey, blueberry breakfast cereal Score - 90/100 Review - This was rather intriguing due to its highly enjoyable aroma. The funky fruit sweetness was quite captivating and well-proportioned. This carried over to the mouthfeel with a bit more funk, bringing forth a characteristic I've previously encountered with the Dalmore Cigar Malt, which I have mixed emotions about. It's this peculiar meaty, funky, mushroomy sweet red wine funk that evokes conflicted feelings. This also carries through to the lengthy finish. Would I consume if offered? - Yes Would I intentionally order it? - Possibly Would I purchase a bottle? - No

The nose is incredibly strong, with notes of boysenberry, cake frosting, and hazelnut. It has a very dry and lean taste. The peat character is quite subtle. It presents with very dark fruit flavors. The finish has a pleasing linger, primarily of salt. A truly distinctive and delightful dram.
