The second edition in Bruichladdich's Uber-Provenance series, this bottling is available only through Travel Retail. It was made with bere barley, an ancient six-row spring barley varietal dating back to at least the 8th century, believed to have been introduced to Scotland by the Vikings. This barley was cultivated at Kynagarry Farm on the Dunlossit Estate in eastern Islay. The whisky is unpeated and has an ABV of 50%.

Opens with a punch of tangerine peel and lime, followed by floral notes of violet, lavender, and sage. The finish is lighter than a typical Laddie, offering a very refreshing experience.
Unforgettable. One of my initial whiskies. Oily, smooth texture. Freshly cut grass scent.
