Danika Murdock 5.0

Nose - Strawberries, buttery brioche, toasted coconut, grilled pineapple, trace of caramelized bananas, sea breeze Taste - Toasted coconut, salt, opulent buttery/oily texture, ripe strawberries, grilled pineapple, faint woody bitterness akin to almond skins Finish - Toasted/scorched coconut/pineapple, red berries and strawberries, salt, faint woody bitterness Score - 96/100 Overall - This pour is truly pleasant from beginning to end. Abundant fresh strawberries and exotic fruits throughout. Toasted coconut and grilled/charred pineapple lead, with ripe juicy strawberries, red raspberries, and Rainier cherries providing balance and lift. A rich, oily, buttery sweet brioche character is present, reminiscent of those coconut and mung bean filled "cocktail buns" from Chinese bakeries, complete with a sweet "pineapple" topping. There's also a slight sharpness that recalls consuming too much fresh pineapple.
