This 2016 Diageo Special Release of Brora single malt is one year older than the distillery's 2015 offering for the same collection. Speculation suggests this might be the distillery's final appearance in the series. Since its closure in 1983 due to a saturated whisky market, single malt releases from this Highland distillery are now scarce and costly. Distilled in 1977, this highly sought-after expression underwent 38 years of maturation before being bottled at 48.6% ABV, with only 2,984 bottles produced.
