You never know when these ghost distilleries will reappear, and when they do, they are rarely the same. Layer after layer, the aroma of this Brora has dragon fruits, lilies, and dusty whiffs of an old basement. A touch of horse stable, soot, and tobacco emerge. On the palate, tropical fruits burst forth with an incredible mouthfeel, followed by cayenne pepper, spearmint, and ashy traces of peat. Salted grapefruit, roasted coffee, and a charming peaty tang highlight the remarkable finish. This dram is in a class of its own, amazing stuff! RATING: 4.7/5.0 stars ≙ 93 pts → SUPERB [+]
