About this bottle
This whiskey originates from Kentucky straight bourbon (comprising 70% corn, 21% rye, and 9% malted barley) produced by Owensboro Distilling Co. and aged for a minimum of two years. Subsequently, the bourbon was transferred and blended in a tank, then further matured with a specific selection of oak staves: 40% former bourbon barrels, 40% new French oak, and 20% sherry cask. Bottled at 95 proof, this updated Small Batch Bourbon was introduced by the brand in late January 2022.

Like breakfast in a glass. Corn flakes and rye toast are prominent. The staves impart a sharpness only slightly softened by the sherry's sweetness. A strong contender.
Consistently hot. Lacking in flavor depth. Rather one-dimensional. Primarily heat with a hint of dried fruit.
Incredible aroma with rich maple syrup and white chocolate. Very smooth on the palate with an easy finish.
Neat: Vanilla, rye spice, wheat. A good sipper.
It's warming, with no particularly distinctive qualities.
