Broken Barrel Heresy Rye (Previous Packaging Discontinued)

Tasted it without knowing what it was during a whiskey get-together with pals. I might have figured it was a Balcones rye that underwent some kind of additional barrel aging. Appears to be a fair price for around twenty dollars.

This rye offers a very distinct profile and is definitely worth trying.

Sugary sweetness, with oak, smooth.
