Bridge & Main American Wheat Bourbon

I saw this bottle for the first time and decided to try something new. I'm enjoying it neat. Nose - A very unusual and unenjoyable aroma. It smells floral and like old, soggy fruit. Very bitter and pungent. Taste - This is more pleasant than the nose, but something is still off. It tastes very, very ripe, with light caramel, bitterness, and a short finish. Disappointing. Overall - The toasted wheat caught my attention in this affordable bottle, but it simply doesn't work here. I rarely say this about bourbon, but this is almost a waste. It will definitely be used as a mixer. It's one of the very few bourbons I think stink. The bottle itself is nice, but the label appears cheap. The only positives are its low price and the caramel flavor.

Smooth whiskey made from wheat, tasting of sweet caramel, toffee, and vanilla. A coworker suggested it for casual weekday enjoyment, and I concur. The lingering finish is quite pleasant. Sip it leisurely; the flavor evolves subtly with every taste.

This strikes me as quite immature. It doesn't measure up when compared to other wheated whiskeys. For me, the aroma strangely evokes the scent of pennies. This is genuinely the worst bottle I currently possess. Redemption Wheated is a far superior option.
