Sophia Swartz 3.5

I was somewhat let down by this one since I've liked other bourbons with wine finishes, but this was a bit overwhelming for me. I'm not a huge wine enthusiast, so my judgment might be a bit skewed, but the finish is a little too intense and focuses entirely on the wine flavor. I've enjoyed Angel's Envy previously, so I'm curious if Breckenridge's port wine finished bourbon is more balanced than this. I do appreciate the finishes they experiment with, as the rum finished bourbon was among the best I've had.

Cole Razo 4.3

Initial taste, but very pleased with it so far. It has very traditional bourbon characteristics but is very well-balanced, and the Madeira finish adds a perfect touch.

Harris Martens 2.8

Lots of candy and caramel aromas. Quite sweet upfront. Body is a bit thin. Decent alcoholic warmth on the end

Brenda Baxter 3.5

It was smooth, but of the four Breckenridge whiskeys sampled this month, this one was the least potent.

Karlee Braxton 3.8

Golden hue with honey notes and a smooth conclusion.

Summer Cardoso 4.0

Smooth from beginning to end.
