Bowmore 19yo Feis Ile 2024

I've concluded that this Bowmore 19yo Feis Ile 2024 edition is the best Bourbon Cask Whisky I've had in at least three years. All the classic whisky characteristics are present, but they are all exceptionally well-executed. On the nose: Coconut!; like Ferrero Rocher's Rafaello. Coconut ice cream; there's a wonderful spiciness. Bowmore ash, buttery coconut. It evokes a feeling of being "playerote", a new Spanish term I just coined to describe something that is the absolute epitome of "Beachy". Wax and white chocolate. On the Palate it's a coconut frenzy. Thick vanilla. Rum and raisin ice cream. Aftertaste is spicy. The signature smoke from Bowmore. Perfection. Roasted coffee. Overall, this was incredibly close to being the perfect ex-bourbon cask single malt. In fact, my rating for it is an outstanding 98 out of 100. A wonderful dram!
