About this bottle
This 50-year-old bottling, launched in December 2017, is the third release in Bowmore's Vault Legends Collection. The whisky, filled in 1966, marks the first official year Bowmore bottled a single malt and the year Distillery Manager Eddie MacAffer began his tenure. Aged in an ex-bourbon hogshead cask, this single cask release is limited to 70 bottles and presented at 41.5% ABV in a custom crystal decanter and Scottish oak cabinet.
