Greyson Lundy 3.3

(Good Spirits Co. Glasgow - tasting event on 30 October 2020. For the MacMillan Cancer Support charity). Distilled in December 2001 1 of 190 bottles Bottled in 2020 Nose: Freshly baked bread, salty sea air, candy, rubber/plastic. A hint of cleaning fluid(?). A strange dusty scent. Palate: Salt, smoke, vanilla, caramel, mild peat, peaches. A peculiar floral note that's hard to identify. Finish: A very long finish. Bright spices, salt, vanilla. Smoke/peat emerges right at the end. This stays with you for a long time. It has an extremely long finish. It's smooth, with light peat and a good amount of saltiness. Well-balanced. It's a little too floral for my preference, but it's undoubtedly a decent whisky. Finished second out of the six whiskies, receiving 29% (12 votes) of the final vote for favorite of the night.
