Bourbon de Luxe

Distilled in 1958, the aroma is heavily oak-influenced with cherry syrup, floral rye spice, molasses, and leather. The taste is dry and spicy, featuring rye, black pepper, cinnamon, cherry syrup, oak, molasses, cooked brown sugar, and a subtle hint of vanilla. The finish is moderately long, with lingering rye as the oak, black pepper, and molasses gradually fade.

The aroma features pitted fruit, especially cherry, with subtle oak and leather. A touch of astringency. The palate has butterscotch and caramel with a spicy kick that yields to dark chocolate and apricot. A trace of bubblegum. The 100 proof is still evident.

Caramel notes and reasonably smooth for a bourbon aged for 4 years.
