Boulder Spirits Cask Strength Bourbon

A very mild alcohol presence and a slightly musty scent. Perhaps banana? Palate: Begins slightly sweet with a malty vanilla base. Very dry, with a cola-like flavor. There's a kick from the proof, but it also has a sweet, fruity quality. Adding water reduces the alcohol but preserves the flavor. Delicious.

I regret not getting a bottle. I was in Colorado and purchased a sampler, which was decent, but it didn't include the top-tier cask strength version. Excellent pour with a nice equilibrium of warmth, smoothness, and taste. Fantastic stuff from Colorado.
