Boulder Spirits Bourbon Sherry Cask Finish

Initial impression: a younger bourbon. The aroma has much more vanilla (like frosting), fig, and perhaps a bit of grass. I definitely detect the tang of Sherry. The flavor includes citrus, white fruit, candied sugar, and vanilla. The aftertaste is sweet and sugary. I prefer it over the straight bourbon.

The Sherry cask introduces a layer of complexity that the standard bourbon lacks. It also contributes to smoothing out the overall flavor profile.
