An intense 'Rye Whiskey by Rhonda Kallman, founder of Boston Harbor Distillery in Boston. Made from 95% malted rye & 5% malted two-row barley. It’s re-distilled using a center cut to increase the proof to 155 and aged in new, deeply charred 200-liter barrels. It's brought to a very pleasant 43% ABV with pure water from the local Quabbin Reservoir.' It begins aromatically with notes of warm toasted oak, fresh rye bread, herbs: mint, cilantro & a hint of sea salt caramel; while a bold & spicy middle adds notes of cinnamon apple pie, white pepper, warm cardamom & clove; leading to a long & thick finish.
