Blue Run's single barrel rye whiskey, the first of its kind for the brand, undergoes finishing in new, charred oak barrels. The rye whiskey was initially aged in new, charred oak barrels exhibiting a #3 medium toast char level. It was subsequently transferred to another new barrel with the same char level for finishing. Ten single barrels, designated 01F through 10F, are available for this release, each bottled at barrel strength, ranging from 104.8 to 110.7 proof. Availability begins online via the brand's website on June 1, 2023, followed by distribution to select retailers in KY, CA, IL, FL, and MI in July 2023. The suggested retail price is $199.99.
