Deep hue. The character of a high-proof bourbon is present. Silky at first, with a warming finish. The aroma is sweet and not harsh. This bourbon is certainly aged. It deserves more recognition. Each sip improves the experience. Notes of apple pie and holiday spices.
Nose hits you with bold vanilla and molasses. Very pleasing. Taste brings dark caramel, black pepper, and a richness reminiscent of a Sugar Daddy candy. A tiny bit of water unlocks coconut, maple, and additional spice. Lingering aftertaste. Smooth texture on the palate.

The aroma presented as peach blueberry cobbler with marzipan. It was well-balanced with vanilla, a touch of spice, plum, and a lengthy spearmint and bubble gum finish.
From two barrels, this pick offered butterscotch and orange notes with a peppermint conclusion. 118 proof.
