The rum is made from molasses at a distillery situated on the coast of Barbados and undergoes a minimum of one year of aging in oak barrels.

As the distillery's tasting notes indicated, this rum is intensely hot on the palate, with little coming through besides acetone. I have admired a certain musician's work for a long time, but unfortunately, this rum was a letdown.
