The nose is strongly influenced by juniper with a peppery scent and some floral undertones. The palate is very spicy, delivering a chili heat to both the tongue and throat. After swallowing, it transitions back to a peppery taste with some floral notes in the finish. When mixed with tonic, the chili heat disappears, making it much more approachable with some citrus sweetness and floral notes, though still slightly peppery. Overall, it's a quite interesting gin with distinct profiles when consumed straight versus with tonic; a good one to sample.
