The Bladnoch expressions I've tried so far have been average - Samsara and a G&M - so I decided to upgrade and obtain a sample of this to definitively determine if it was a distillery worth continuing with. This one certainly satisfies; prunes, plums, blackberry, jammy fruits, strawberry with a nice balance of aged leather and tobacco... quite pleasant. I wouldn't say it's worth the $250 USD price tag, but it's worth a try if you encounter it at a reasonable cost. Score: 4 to 4.25.
