About this bottle
This limited edition bottling commemorates the distillery's 200th anniversary, which occurred in 2017. Distilled in 1988, the single malt was initially matured in two oloroso sherry barrels. It was subsequently transferred to Moscatel wine casks for a finishing maturation, resulting in a total aging period of 29 years. The Bicentennial Release was packaged in 700ml bottles. Due to changes in US regulations concerning this bottle size, the distillery released 200 bottles specifically for the US market in mid-April 2021.
