This bottling really packs a punch for its age, though it went down with unexpected smoothness. My scribbles from the Adelphi gathering were getting fuzzy by the time we reached this, the eighth pour of the night, but the aroma was described as “luscious and sweet” and the taste as “citrus.” Nevertheless, I recall liking it sufficiently to declare it another Adelphi release I’d gladly acquire for myself.
