To me, the aroma features Granny Smith apple and mesquite. It brings to mind Peg Leg Porker, but as if it were a genetically modified pig created by Stewie Griffin; this spirit truly packs a punch. The T.N. component is stated as 13 years old, but I'm unsure how much of that is attributable to it. I'd estimate the Heigold component to be 4-6 years old. Thus, it's not technically 13 years. Nevertheless, the flavor is spot on. Acquiring it for $50 instead of $150 makes it an incredible purchase and an obvious choice at that price.

A friend procured this for me, likely a bargain at around $60 compared to its usual $150. It's another example of the excellent deals available today as inventory clears. The aroma is soft and well-balanced. Plenty of delightful sweetness on the palate and in the lingering finish. The Calvados barrels add a nice touch. I really enjoyed this pour, rating it /5. For $60, I'M LOVING IT /5
A bit of cinnamon spice and sweetness, with a Calvados cask finish.
It's layered and fiery, yet quite enjoyable. A fruit-forward conclusion.
