Black Draft Straight Bourbon

This bourbon might be one of my top picks! It's incredibly rich yet remarkably smooth. The aroma features classic cherry and oak, though it's subtle. The spirit coats the palate with an oily, intense sweetness and finishes slightly dry and oaky. It's a classic bourbon profile where every element is perfectly executed.

The aroma is of honey and dried fruit, reminiscent of classic fig newton bars with a hint of coconut and raisins. The palate continues the sweet dried fruit from the nose, then blends into cinnamon and leather on the finish. Although brief, the finish is delightfully smooth.

This was an unexpected find. I enjoyed it so much that I returned to West Virginia to purchase three more bottles! Well done!🥃
