I was curious about the fruity notes. Upon checking, I discovered it was Sherry cask finished. Quite enjoyable. A hint of peat smoke on the finish, but not overwhelming. A touch of pepper. And even someone who typically dislikes scotch is okay with it! Success!

Nose: fragrant, notes of orange blossom, developing into a little smoke with more leathery undertones. Taste: rich and smooth, stewed fruit, milk chocolate, red fruit, substantial yet refined. Finish: lengthy with some vanilla and hints of pepper.
