A lot of smoke, minimal sherry, no sweetness, significant malt, vanilla, and smoked meat. A classic. 3.7. Finish: very watery and smoky, astringent on the tongue, dry, without any fireworks. Texture is quite watery, but the alcohol is better concealed than in brandy. 3.6 overall.

Simple but nice for what it is. The Highland peat is more intense than either Ballechin or Highland Park. Nice sherry notes underneath. Tried it at Corner Stone Pizza in Ogunquit, ME.
Smoky, viscous, peaty.
