Mondays aren't usually my favorite day, but this week is an exception because I attended a tasting of cask strength spirits from a particular distillery tonight. The event featured 8 pours, one of which was a mystery, and the rest were tasted blind. This particular spirit was the mystery sample of the night. While I typically enjoy spirits aged in virgin oak, this one didn't particularly impress me, especially considering its $250USD price tag. However, I was in the minority, as it was ranked second or third for the evening.
