The aroma is overwhelmingly dominated by wood. Barrel char, tree bark, tobacco and burnt caramel with something quite herbal. Maybe the base of a rosemary or mint plant. A touch of vanilla is present. Dry, astringent taste. Cedar closet, caramel, more charred wood... a bit of sticky sweetness adds some depth.

Another bottle I haven't opened in quite some time! Made from a 19th-century formula using barley, oats, and rye. It still has that signature Copper Fox woody aroma, with a lot of wood in the taste.
Smoky, smooth, with a spicy conclusion.
