Likely made with a concise ingredient list, but skillfully employed – a great gin doesn't require numerous components if they are handled well. It's a competent, middle-tier spirit that can stand its ground in a crowded market, though its limitations become evident when compared to top-shelf options. It performs excellently in mixed drinks, making it well-suited for bar service. I have limited information about this product, but I suspect "Beerenweine" is a brand name rather than a distillery, and this is sourced gin. The company's website showcases a variety of beverages, indicating involvement in medieval performance and culture, with products available at markets nationwide. My bottle was purchased at the Esslingen medieval Christmas market. My initial assessment suggested 3 stars, equating to "above average" in my system, but I don't believe it quite reaches that level.
