About this bottle

Launched in April 2014, this Beefeater gin draws inspiration from the historical connection between the original distillery and the nearby Chelsea Physic Garden. Established in 1673 as a place for cultivating and studying medicinal plants, the garden was a frequent destination for James Burroughs, Beefeater's founder, who likely found inspiration for his gin creation there. This gin uses eleven botanicals: juniper, thyme, lemon verbena, lemon peel, almond, Seville orange peel, coriander seed, licorice root, orris root, angelica root, and angelica seed. It is sold solely at the Beefeater Visitor Center in London.

Phoenix Worley 5.0

More understated and refined than Beefeater Dry. This time, the Lemon and aromatic Thyme notes truly stand out alongside the Juniper. This is no longer the distillery exclusive; it has been replaced by Beefeater 'Mondays Gin', which is essentially Beefeater Dry steeped for 72 hours and bottled at 48% abv.. Delightful.
