I had intended to taste this for some time but lacked the shelf space. That changed this weekend. I found it discounted and decided to try it, and it's decent. However, it's only decent. It has a faint ethanol scent but little else for aroma, which can be positive for vodka. It stings a bit when at room temperature but not when chilled. It blends well in all the drinks I've prepared with it, such as Martinis, Harvey Wallbangers, and Vodka Tonics. I appreciate the classic saloon-style bottle with a cork stopper. The main drawback is its typical price in my region, which is higher than other comparable vodkas. If you enjoy vodka, this is a solid choice, but for general bar stocking, cheaper options exist. Enjoy.

Dixie (they appear to have removed “Beuragard”) Served neat at room temperature, it has a neutral nose with a light sweetness on the front of the tongue, a corn-forward backend, and a pleasant, slightly sharp burn at the finish. I purchased this to try a friend's Cajun Martinis because the bottle's appearance evoked New Orleans and "Cajun Martini" (plus it was the day after the 4th and choices were limited at the store).

Clear spirit distilled 6 times from non-GMO corn, bottled in South Carolina. Delicate nose with hints of spice and metal. Light body with notes of char-roasted and marinated chili and green pepper. A touch of sugar and corn leads to a sweet conclusion. April 2018.

I learned about this brand a few months ago when I noticed they were the official vodka of NASCAR, so I felt compelled to try it. Now, it's the only vodka I purchase! Six distillations and gluten-free, which my wife also appreciates. Goodbye to a certain other vodka!

Very little on the nose, just a hint of freshness. It's sweet at first on the tongue, then very smooth towards the end. A slight warmth as it goes down. Smoother than Tito's; I genuinely like this one. Best enjoyed neat.

I liked Dixie vodka. It's quite balanced with a good mouthfeel. I'll definitely repurchase.
