Nose: Predominantly fruity. I detect berries, apricots, orange peel, and brown sugar. The palate: I experience boozy fruit. The apricot in this reminds me of one of their rye products, barrel seagrass. The dark fruit is also present. This has incredible flavor. Finish: A long, lingering Kentucky hug. At cask strength, it remains. Overall: I'm very familiar with whiskey but new to rum. That said, if other rums are superior to this, then I'm eager to try them. This is fantastic.
