About this bottle

Barrell Craft Spirits, an independent bottler, has launched a new series of sourced, cask-strength, limited edition spirits. Bottling 1, released in November 2018 as one of three inaugural bottlings, is a blend of vintage rums from Barbados, Guyana, and Jamaica, aged between 13 and 21 years. It is bottled at a cask strength of 124.2 proof.

A fantastic and complex fusion, achieving more than its individual components. Immediately, the aroma offers a bold Jamaican character, seamlessly merging with typical Barbados notes of dried pineapple and banana. This is rounded out by a lengthy, satisfying finish featuring sweet baking spices and tobacco, originating from the Guyana rum. This 13-21 year old rum blend is intricate and vibrant, yet harmonized. The mouthfeel is quite enjoyable and full-bodied, presented at cask strength.
