Barrell Bourbon Private Release GXB2 "Walk in Plum Park"

Tasted without dilution, courtesy of a friend. My nostrils feel a bit singed. The aroma is very fruity and rum-like, with notes of brown sugar, caramel, plums, and vanilla. It's hot on the palate, with tastes of red candy, cinnamon, pepper, warm cake, and burnt crème brûlée.

The nose offers pear, oak, red apple, nuts, vanilla, grape jelly, and soft leather. The palate has some heat, but otherwise presents cherry, brown sugar, caramel, vanilla, pepper, oak, conifer, and funnel cake. A long, hot, sweet, and spicy finish.
