Sweet, fruity, not enough whiskey character, more like a wine finished in a whiskey barrel. Consumed with a companion as part of a tasting flight at a restaurant.

About this bottle
This straight bourbon is a joint effort between Bardstown Bourbon Co. and Louisville's Copper & Kings. A 10-year-old straight bourbon originating from Indiana, with a mash bill of 75% corn, 21% rye, and 4% malted barley, undergoes secondary maturation in a Copper & Kings Muscat Mistelle barrel for 18 months. Following this, it is transferred back into new, charred American oak barrels for an additional 19 months. The bottling strength is 49.95% ABV, with restricted availability beginning in October 2019 at the BBCo. gift shop.

One of the finest bourbons I've ever experienced. Incredibly smooth and velvety. At $350 a bottle and only available at the distillery, it's worth the purchase.
A novel fruit blend flavor profile in bourbon.
Potent and sweet.
