Received a sample as part of a spirits exchange. Nose: Vanilla, brown sugar, citrus, and a lot of peculiar earthy notes are present. Strong mint and baking spices on the nose. A somewhat odd combination that I found slightly unappealing. Flavor: More sweet, classic bourbon characteristics, still with prominent black pepper, mint, and baking spices. Finish: Dry and oaky, medium length, with strong mint and black pepper again, plus some ethanol bite. To be honest, I wanted to enjoy this, but there's a lingering aftertaste reminiscent of toothpaste that I couldn't overcome.

Rich, oily notes of brown sugar and maple. The finish is exceptional. This bottle has genuinely evolved, becoming increasingly impressive. Subtle toasty hints emerge, yet the wonderful maple essence remains prominent for me. Fortunate to have obtained a bottle of this.
It certainly has a kick. A consistent warmth from beginning to end. Smoky with hints of caramel. Best served slightly chilled, as this allows the whiskey blend to create a more complex flavor profile. It's decent, but certainly not worth the cost.
Oak, vanilla, spice, with herbal and floral undertones. Medium, tannic finish. This is a very sweet, corn-forward bourbon with a spicy kick. It's not perfectly balanced, but it's an interesting spirit. Aged 12 years.
The nose is great, with caramel, vanilla, and oak. The initial taste is somewhat spicy with vanilla coming through, but overall it was too intense for me. It never seemed to mellow, even with a few drops of water.
A mild nose at first. Smells like fresh linens. The palate has cola, herbs, and caramel. Decent spice. It's sweet, but the finish shifts between sweet and dry, which is interesting. Wonderful. 9/2/19
