Fantastic! A friend purchased a small bottle for me during my bachelor party. Drinking this right after another spirit revealed more rye spice, but this one finishes so smoothly. Notes of baked brown sugar and almond honey are present.

The nose is full of apple, with a slight ethanol presence. I detect many sweet initial elements: brown sugar, caramel, vanilla, and some apple. Honestly, the most distinctive aspect of this pour is that it drinks quite cold, even at room temperature, seeming almost chilled. It has a rather sharp bite, especially for something under 100 proof. However, this is compensated by a wonderful warm and lengthy finish. There's a touch of char and distinct oakiness at this stage. A hint of tobacco. It genuinely grew on me as I drank it, and the harshness improved. I'll need to try it again after a palate primer.

Caramel and vanilla on both the nose and palate. A pleasant mouthfeel and a long-lasting warmth. 8/27/22 - No significant change from my initial tasting. Perhaps slightly thinner, but still full of flavor. The spicy warmth remains. It's good, but I probably don't need to buy it again. 10/15/22 - I brought this along to share during a camping trip. I'm pleased to report that this bottle has notably improved, and I enjoyed it this past weekend. It's definitely better than 'good.' However, I'm still uncertain if I need to keep it on hand regularly.

Aroma - brown sugar, almonds, apples, pears, pie crust spices. A sweet profile with a very nice balance. Taste - This is quite good. It carries many of the same notes from the aroma, notably pronounced brown sugar, apples, berries, and a subtle spice. A hint of old oak on the finish really brings everything into harmony. It's exceptionally smooth. Overall - better than average for its price. A very well-made blend. I'm definitely detecting more of the younger, 3-year-old whiskeys than the 12-year-olds.

The initial scents are caramel, vanilla, and apple. Deeper exploration reveals very faint hints of cinnamon. The first sip is sweet, echoing the apple and caramel from the aroma. The palate develops into a spicy rye and oak finish, introducing considerable warmth that persists for a significant time. It's a pleasant combination of sweetness and heat that creates an enjoyable experience.

Appears a dark straw color with slow, thin legs. The aroma presents noticeable rye characteristics: green apple, golden raisins, toast, vanilla, light caramel, and a touch of clove. It's smooth but carries warmth. Flavors of creamed corn and butterscotch transition to toasted oak and butter pecan ice cream, with hints of raspberry. A subtle malt note is present throughout. This is exceptionally easy to enjoy!
