About this bottle
The Tale of the Dog, a 42-year-old release, is part of The Balvenie's Stories collection. The name originates from an anecdote shared by The Balvenie's Coppersmith, Dennis McBain, about a specialized metal tube used to extract whisky directly from casks, a tool still employed today at Warehouse 24 for sampling. This whisky became available in the U.S. in November 2022. (SRP $14,500)
