Excited to have finally opened this one! Nose: pecans, milk chocolate, brown sugar, and a hint of fruit - a delicious start Palate: quickly shifts to vanilla-covered red hots, some of that distinctive Welch's grape juice note from Balcones, and nice pepper spice - quite a change from the sweetness of the nose, but not disappointing at all Finish: surprisingly quick for the proof, but leaves more of the pecans and grape juice with a bit of baking spice - a nice end to a pleasant pour
