I prepared an Old Fashioned cocktail using Balcones Texas Rye whiskey. Balcones Texas Rye is potent, robust, spicy, and packed with flavor. I can't even detail all the tastes. This could be rated four or five stars depending on my mood. It's a fantastic rye whiskey and one of my favorites.
Remarkable. And mine is 64% ABV, not 60%. Surprisingly smooth for its strength.
