This is an outstanding single malt Irish whiskey. It was aged for 14 years, spending 11 years in former bourbon barrels and the last 3 years in premium oloroso sherry casks. The spirit is bottled at a robust 48% ABV. The sherry influence is a very noticeable and appealing characteristic of this whiskey. The distillery was established in 2019 in northwest Ireland and acquired stills from Italy. Considering this, the release likely has different origins and was perhaps finished on-site. The company joined with another in 2021. I strongly recommend this whiskey if you can locate it. 🥃
