Ascendant Breaker Wheated

Unable to detect the fruit, but it seems to have a plum or port wine finish. Sweet and wheated, with the fruit prominent on the front palate. It's just okay for a California bourbon.

It's smooth. The initial tastes bring leather and vanilla to mind. It finishes with a smooth, peppery burn.

It begins sweet and then becomes spicy. The conclusion is nearly medicinal or sour.

It's not as sweet as other wheated bourbons available.

Sweet caramel, toasted nuts, and vanilla with a silky finish.

Smooth. I would purchase it again.
