A potent Brandy from Compagnie des Produits de Gascogne in Bas Armagnac, France. It is crafted from a mix of Folle-Blanche, Ugni-Blanc, Colombard & Baco, distilled right after picking to keep the most scents; then matured for 49 years in 100-gallon Armagnac oak casks; made from ancient white oak trees sourced from the local Monlezun & Frêche woods; before being bottled in September 2019. It begins aromatically with hints of oak, vanilla, dried fruit, and roasted nuts; its robust middle brings notes of prunes, clove, walnuts, and vanilla; finishing with a medium-length, spicy, woody conclusion.
