An intense Islay Scotch from Scotland; the inaugural Ardbeg Supernova, and Ardbeg's first attempt at crafting a heavily peated whisky! This was specifically made for the Ardbeg Committee. It possesses a peaty and spicy origin, with pungent notes of tar, pipe tobacco, smoked paprika, hints of Parma ham, chili, burning turmeric, toffee apple sweetness, citrus, and malt; while its substantial development introduces intense fiery peat, chipotle chili, fruity sweetness, with traces of premium coal tar, citrus, salty butter, bandages, cocoa, and robust, warming peat.
