Kierra Christie 5.0

This exceptional bottling was the highlight of a significant Ardbeg event featuring rare and recent releases. This particular edition, aged for 25 years in a sherry cask, displayed complexity that was challenging to fully appreciate in the setting, yet it revealed an intriguing spectrum of flavors. The nose offered a rich, creamy peat with a menthol hint. It began delicately on the palate before a burst of fruitiness like tangerines and pineapple, with an unusual cheddar cheese-like note. A canned fruit syrup appeared, leading to a finish characterized by cream cheese and intense smoky thunder. This is a whisky that clearly warrants careful consideration and would likely offer more depth with continued tasting.

Roslyn Starling 5.0

From the Drammers Club selection. Experiencing this for the second time. It's entirely different from the initial tasting. Now features notes of Vanilla, Caramel, Chocolate, Citrus, Cherry, Sherry, Raisins, Raspberry, Flowers, Smoke, Vanilla, Almonds, Pineapple, Mint, Cooked Agave, Dill, Grass, Banana, Mango, Coconut, Anise, and Menthol.

Makenzie Montes 5.0

Tasted at a club event. It offers a complex profile with notes of peat, smoke, tropical fruit, floral elements, caramel, and pepper.

Nita Potts 4.8

The aroma suggests peat and leather, with notes of pork chops in barbecue. The taste is like clover and smoked bacon. It has a long aftertaste.

Reagan Behrens 4.8

Intensely smoky and quite delicious, sharp initially but smooth towards the end.
