Tasted about an ounce on a cruise. A bartender generously poured more when I wondered if pricier rum would be notably better. That's when my wife and I discovered fine sipping rum. The aged version was superb, smooth, and easy to drink without being overly sweet or basic. Fantastic.

The shop I frequent has bottle 084 of 800, priced at $5000 USD. I suppose I will have an opportunity to purchase and sample it if I win the lottery; failing that, I will gaze at it wistfully while I head out to get affordable beverages.
